Rich coached me for over 18 months in preparation for the AG standard distance world championships and a half Ironman. The main focus was the 70.3 and on the big day, of the 3 disciplines I ended up getting a half marathon PB which I did not expect!
Sessions were uploaded and monitored using TrainingPeaks and he used an effective mix of longer low intensity with high intensity sessions. He was always available to chat and paid close attention to progress, amending weeks in and around race day to taper off brilliantly; his pre-race pep talks were always appreciated too.
The proof is in the pudding as they say and that shows in Rich’s results and his extensive experience as a top AG athlete. I highly recommend his services as on top of coaching, he’s also an immense support when training inevitably gets tough. I’ve no doubt that I wouldn’t have hit my triathlon goals without his guidance.

I wanted to share my positive experience working with Richard. Since we first started in 2022 I was getting into the world of triathlons. As a multi-sport professional, his understanding of how to train both the body and mind for the various disciplines and distances has been invaluable.
What stands out is his ability to coach individuals and also lead group sessions effectively, catering to different fitness levels simultaneously.
For 18 months, I followed the daily training sessions designed for swimming, running, cycling, rest, and recovery, which enabled me to compete in several events. It was clear from the beginning that Rich takes genuine pride in the progress of this athletes. This was truly inspiring and it meant a lot to me.

He knows the sport inside out and always took the time to explain the ‘why’ behind the training. If something didn’t make sense or I needed to adjust things, he was always available and easy to talk to.
